That the Parliament acknowledges the success of North Edinburgh Community Festival, and commends everyone involved for their contribution to the community; recognises the diverse range of activities for families and friends; appreciates the involvement of volunteers and individuals from a variety of organisations such as non-governmental organisations, charities, and emergency services; considers that they provided food free of charge, promoted community cohesion and reduced social isolation; understands that the festival promotes aid to help lower income families and vulnerable members of the community; notes the support and participation from performers from local schools and groups; wishes the best for future generations so that they can enjoy this engaging festival, and looks forward to the next North Edinburgh Community Festival.
